Summer Academy: American Studies in a Transatlant

Everyone at the Amerika Haus, such as Meike Zwingenberger, Jasmin Falk, the custodial staff, and librarians, made me feel incredibly welcome. Not only was the program intellectually captivating, but spiritually invigorating as well. My fellow students as well as the professors, such as Prof. Paul and Prof. Watten, were incredibly informative and helpful. My two week stay in Munich for the conference was simply magical on so many levels: not only did it help to professionalize me as an academic, but it, perhaps more importantly, provided an endless supply of awe as a result of all the brilliant and creative people who came together for the conference. I can't wait to return to Munich and the Amerika Haus sometime soon.
